Facebook engagement

Between 11/2015 and 6/2017, I managed all content on our Facebook account, working with Twin Cities PBS - TPT and the other partnering stations of the Minnesota Public Television Association to cross-promote content and events. In addition to posting stories from the Story Wall, I assembled albums, and created pull quotes and This Day In History posts to further engage our audience. Tim's Audio story

I served as the primary editor for the online Story Wall, which features approximately 800 stories that were collected throughout the year. Most of my work focused on formatting user-generated submissions like Tim's. For this story, I worked with Tim to help capture audio, then formatted the text and photos in a manner to best capture the story.

With many changes taking place in Minnesota's individual market place in 2016, we wanted to lay out the application and enrollment process from start to finish in one easy-to-read page, no matter what a consumer’s previous enrollment status was.

Consumers who clicked on "Create An Account" from the MNsure home page were directed to the New Customers guide; those who clicked "Log In" from the home page were directed to the Current Customers guide.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Between 11/2015 and 6/2017, I managed all content on our Facebook and Twitter accounts, from organic and paid marketing to customer service. Many of my original illustrations are still in use.

WHEN LIFE HAPPENS... MNSURE HAS YOU COVERED

I illustrated and animated this GIF for use on MNsure's social media channels to let consumers know of circumstances that qualify them for enrollment in health coverage outside of the open enrollment period. 

TRISH'S MNSURE STORY

Consumer stories like Trish's are helpful in illustrating the importance and ease of applying for health insurance. I directed, produced, shot, and edited this video for promotion during the 2017 open enrollment period.

I served as production assistant on this shoot: watching for continuity between takes, helping with shooting site logistics, and acquiring media for final edit.

This was the first story I saw from start to finish. I pre-interviewed the subject, pitched the story, devised and arranged the shooting logistics, assistant directed on the field shoot, and acquired media for use in edit.

I oversaw the production of the Guild's quarterly print publication, including advising on content, doing the layout out and design, copy editing, and contributing as needed. This was distributed to our 700+ members. (In 2017, we became paperless and the print newsletter ceased production. My attention instead has been turned toward a website redesign.)

2016 annual report

In the interest of transparency, we began offering an annual report to our members and the public in 2016. Working with my fellow board members for content, I designed our inaugural report.
